Assunto: State of redistricting this week
AOTL logo

Sula -- I’m writing today to give you a quick read-out on the state of redistricting. There are a number of states you should have on your radar this week: Ohio, Texas, Colorado, and Nebraska, to name just a few.

These states have all kicked off their redistricting processes -- but not all of them are on track to pass fair maps. Read our latest update to find out what we’re expecting in these key states -- and others -- this week.

In some states, we’re facing a massive multi-level effort to manipulate maps and secure years of conservative power. In Ohio, the draft legislative maps give Republicans a 2:1 advantage even though voters split their votes between the parties more closely to 55/45 over the past decade.

We are in the map drawing phase of redistricting, and efforts to gerrymander some districts are already in full force. Will you chip in to support All On The Line’s work to end map manipulation and achieve fair maps?

All On The Line is the grassroots advocacy campaign supported by the National Redistricting Action Fund. Support our work to end gerrymandering.

Communities across the country are facing impacts from issues we know the All On The Line community cares about -- like climate change, reproductive rights and access to health care.
Here are a few ways you can help: If you want to help people impacted by the fires in California, donate here. If you want to help people in Texas access abortion services, donate here. If you want to help people recover from recent hurricanes, donate here to help mutual aid efforts in Louisiana, donate here to mutual aid benefiting communities across the Gulf Coast, donate here to help provide food to families impacted in Pennsylvania, donate here to help provide clean water to residents in New Jersey, and donate here to help provide direct flood relief to LGBTQ+ Black and Brown people in New York City.

If you'd like to help make sure gerrymandering doesn't prevent our state and federal government from taking meaningful action on climate change and health care, please consider donating to support our work at All On The Line.
